SMS / Text Messaging Privacy 

This section describes how Dement Development LLC d/b/a United Exteriors (“United Exteriors”) collects, uses, and protects information related to our SMS (text messaging) program for free roof inspection scheduling. 


Information We Collect 

When you submit a contact form on a United Exteriors Facebook or Instagram lead advertisement requesting a free roof inspection, we collect: 

  • Your name 
  • Your phone number 
  • Your email address 
  • Your property address 
  • Your consent to be contacted by phone, text, and email regarding your inspection request 


How We Use Your Information 

We use the information you provide to: 

  • Send you SMS messages to confirm receipt of your inspection request 
  • Provide you with a scheduling link to book your free roof inspection 
  • Answer your questions about scheduling and the inspection process 
  • Coordinate the in-person free inspection of your property 


Mobile Information Sharing — Important Disclosure 

No mobile information (including your phone number and SMS opt-in consent) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. 


The only entities with access to your mobile information are: 

  • United Exteriors — to communicate with you about your inspection request. 
  • Twilio, Inc. — our SMS delivery provider, who transmits messages on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy and security obligations. Twilio does not use your information for its own marketing purposes. 
  • OpenAI, L.L.C. — used solely to generate response message text within our scheduling messages. Phone numbers are not transmitted to OpenAI for marketing purposes. 


We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your mobile information to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. 


How to Opt Out of SMS 

You can opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.

Data Retention 

We retain your contact information for as long as necessary to provide scheduling services and to comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing Billy@united-exteriors.com. 

Postal Mail / Direct Mail Marketing

United Exteriors operates a direct-mail program that sends physical postcards and other promotional mailings to consumers who have requested information about our services or whose property addresses we have lawfully obtained. 


Information We Use 

We may use the following information for direct-mail purposes: 

  • Your name 
  • Your physical mailing address (provided by you on a contact form, lead-ad submission, or other lawful source) 


How We Use Your Information 

We use postal mailing information to send you: 

  • Promotional postcards offering free roof inspections 
  • Service reminders and seasonal maintenance offers 
  • Informational mailings related to roofing, siding, and other exterior services 


Sharing of Postal Mailing Information

We share postal mailing addresses only with print and mail-fulfillment vendors that produce and deliver our direct-mail pieces on our behalf. These vendors are contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than fulfilling our mailings, and from selling, renting, or transferring your information to any third party. 


We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your postal mailing address to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. 


How to Opt Out of Direct Mail

To stop receiving postal mail from United Exteriors, contact us using any of the methods below and provide the name and address printed on the mail piece:
